2023-24 Panini Mosaic Basketball is part of the chrome card family. But it does things differently in a few regards. The most obvious is its cornerstone parallel pattern. There’s also the large checklist in both size and scope that includes subsets, a serious rainbow and lots of inserts. Numerous configurations, each with their own exclusives, adds other angles and entry points to the release.

For hobby, there’s one autograph per box with each pack averaging a pair of additional inserts and two parallels. Smaller, single-pack Choice boxes deliver an autograph plus seven parallels. Fast Break boxes also have one autograph along with five inserts and 11 parallels. This is also where collectors can find Rookie Variations, which are one per box.

In addition to standard player cards, the Mosaic base set has some thematic subsets that make the overall checklist bigger. This year, they include NBA Debuts, NBA Greats and City Edition.

Parallels combine to fall 20 per hobby box with most versions delivering the namesake Mosaic pattern in the background. Hobby-only parallels include:
