2025 Topps Chrome WWE sees the colorful brand return to pro wrestling for the first time since 2021. It’s also the first mainstream WWE set since Fanatics landed the back from Panini. Some things like Refractors and autographs remain the same, but a lot has changed in the industry over the last few years as well. The end result is a more expansive checklist and plenty of chase elements that weren’t there before.
There’s also the fact that The Rock will have his first in-pack WWE autograph cards since 1998.
Hobby boxes promise a pair of autographs. Some other configurations also exist including new breaker boxes that also have a pair of signatures but a much more condensed set up with a higher concentration of premium cards.
Two hundred cards make up the base set. It’s a big number that covers the Raw, SmackDown and NXT rosters as well as Legends from the past.
Topps Chrome and Refractor rainbows go together like Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth or Koko B. Ware and Frankie. Here, every card in the main set has more than 25 different versions:
Base Autographs take the main design and add signatures to the mix. Additional parallels include Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Black Refractors (/10), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
Getting a little more specific thematically are Blue Brand Chrome Autographs, Red Brand Chrome Autographs, NXT Chrome Autographs and Legends Chrome Autographs. Refractors, Blue Refractors (/150), Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Black Refractors (/10), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1) start the parallels for these. Breaker boxes also have exclusive Geometric Refractors, Gold Geometric Refractors (/50), Orange Geometric Refractors (/25), Red Geometric Refractors (/5), and Black Geometric Refractors (/2).
If that weren’t enough, the 2025 Topps Chrome WWE checklist also has Hall of Fame Autographs, Main Event Autographs and Marks of Champions Autographs. These also have Refractors, Blue Refractors (/150), Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Black Refractors (/10), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
It’ll take some legwork to build out the various inserts in 2025 Topps Chrome WWE. While some are somewhat readily available across different configurations, others are exclusives. Sticking with recent non-wrestling Topps Chrome sets, several short print inserts are part of the checklist as well.
1985 Topps Legends, Paradigm and Women’s Division are in both hobby and breaker boxes. Things get a little more complicated with the parallels. Refractors, Blue Refractors (/150), Green Refractors (/99), Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Black Refractors (/10), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1) are in hobby. Breaker boxes have Aqua Geometric Refractors (/125), Green Geometric Refractors (/75), Gold Geometric Refractors (/50), Purple Geometric Refractors (/10) and Black Geometric Refractors (/2).
Embedded, Family Tree, Shifting Gears, Slammy and The Time Is Now are all hobby exclusives. So are their four parallels: Gold Refractors (/50), Black Refractors (/10), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
Hobby and breaker boxes have five scarce insert sets: Helix (1:295 hobby, 1:17 breaker), MANIA (1:432 hobby, 1:60 breaker), Let’s Go (1:675 hobby, 1:100 breaker), Headshots (1:720 hobby, 1:120 breaker) and Feel the Pop (1:8,189 hobby, 1:643 breaker).
Over on the retail side, value boxes and mega boxes have 1985 Topps Legends Current, Allen & Ginter, Tag Teams, Title Town and WrestleMania Recall inserts. The rainbow on these consists of Refractors, Blue Refractors (/150), Green Refractors (/99), Red, White and Blue Refractors (/85), Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Black and Gold Refractors (/13), Black Refractors (/10), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
Persona is the retail case hit-style chase set.
