Bet you can’t guess how many cards are in a box of 2023-24 Topps Three Basketball. Hint: it’s half way between two and four.

Consisting of three single-card packs, each box has exactly three cards. Of those, two are autographs. In some ways, it may seem like a similar set-up as Panini One and One Basketball only with an additional signed card. To that end you wouldn’t be wrong. That said, there is a larger focus on additional inserts.

2023-24 Topps Three Basketball Checklist Overview

2023-24 Topps Three Basketball starts with a 100-card shell set. All players here are either active veterans or retired stars. Like the card maker’s other 2023-24 basketball sets, it’s licensed by the NBA Players Association but not the league itself. That means no team logos or trademarks on the cards.

Base parallels include:

• Bronze – (1:18 packs)
• Gold – (1:45 packs)
• Red – (1:89 packs)
• Platinum – (1:442 packs)

Rookie 3 Patch Autographs are also numbered as part of the base set. A total of 27 players are here with triple patch signatures, most notably Victor Wembanyama. These cards have both Horizontal and Vertical versions with the same card numbers. Each has the same mix of five parallels as well.

Relics Autographs Prime, Rookie Relics Autographs Prime and Triple Relics Autographs Prime are other places on the 2023-24 Topps Three Basketball checklist with signed memorabilia cards.

With 95 cards, Full Court Signs is the largest set of autographs on the 2023-24 Topps Three Basketball checklist.

As far as other inserts go, Three has five themes, all of which use designs that aren’t exactly subtle. They include Monsters of the Deep, Ice Water, Architects, Knockout and Triple Double. All inserts are numbered to 49 and under.
