2024 Topps Chrome Update Series Baseball is big on rookies. Besides the base set, standard autographs and inserts, this is also the product where collectors will find the second crop of Rookie Debut Patch Autographs.
Three different configurations are available at the hobby level. Standard hobby boxes deliver one autograph. Jumbo boxes have three while more compact breaker boxes have two. Mega boxes add a fourth option.
2024 Topps Chrome Update Series Baseball Checklist Overview
The 200-card base set will likely revolve largely around the season’s freshman class. And it’s a strong one with the likes of Paul Skenes, Jackson Holliday (who is the product’s cover athlete) and more. Being Chrome, Refractors will be plentiful as well.
Currently, there are no specifics on most of the chase elements. However, there are some key details on the Rookie Debut Patch Autographs. Just over 250 different players are available and every one of these cards is a one-of-one. Thepatch on the front comes from their MLB debut.
There are some very specific parameters as far as the dates of these debuts. Players who made their first appearances between June 1, 2023 and May 24, 2024 are eligible here. Highlights include:
Jackson Holliday

The checklist has a lot of other signatures including Chrome Baseball Update Series Autographs, Chrome Rookie Autographs Lava Lamp, Future Stars Autographs and Chrome Legends Autographs, which are available in more configurations this time, not just breaker boxes.
