2025 Topps Series 1 Baseball kicks off the new season in a way that emphasizes both tradition and moving forward.

The checklist keeps with the past couple of decades, going big with an assortment of inserts that go far beyond the central base set. Other foundational elements remain as well but they’re joined by some chase elements as well.

Collectors will find several different configurations including both hobby and jumbo.

2025 Topps Series 1 Baseball Checklist Details

The main base set clocks in at 350 cards. Veterans and rookies are the main focus. They’re joined by such subsets as Future Stars, League Leaders and team cards.

Foil is the theme for many of the parallels, offering more colorful takes on the base set. All told, every card in the set has more than 50 different versions. This includes several exclusives including a new batch of spring-themed Holiday cards found only in tins.

Despite the large number of parallels, some long-running themes like Black, Father’s Day Blue and Mother’s Day Pink are not on the 2025 Topps Series 1 Baseball checklist.

First Card versions come with a special stamp. These are intended to indicate the first copies of each card that were produced.

For the third consecutive year, every base card has a Golden Image Variation as well. These SSP cards carry the same base design at first glance on the front but have a different photo.

Inserts, Autographs, Memorabilia and More

Among the inserts themes on the 2025 Topps Series 1 Baseball checklist are:

• 2024 All-Topps Team
• 2024’s Greatest Hits
• Ball to the Hall
• Training Grounds

These all have the same mix of parallels: Pink Foil (600 copies), Blue Foil (/150), Green Foil (/99), Gold Foil (/50), Orange Foil (/25), Black Foil (/10), Red Foil (/5), and Foilfractors (1/1).

Stars of the MLB gets a new mix of cards. Parallels here are limited to Gold Foil (/50), Orange Foil (/25), Black Foil (/10), Red Foil (/5), and Foilfractors (1/1).

As far as tributes go, things move into a new decade. 2025 Topps Baseball honors the 35th anniversary of 1990 Topps Baseball. Among the ways is with 1990 Topps Baseball Autographs. These have Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Black (/10), Red (/5) and Platinum (1/1) versions. Signers are a mix of past, present and rookie stars.

Baseball Stars Autographs return. Everyone is fair game on these as far as themes go. These have the same parallel assortment as 1990 Topps Baseball Autographs along with additional Blue (/150) versions. Dual Baseball Stars Autographs are numbered to 10 or less.

New to 2025 Topps Baseball are Flagship Real One Autographs. Gold Foil (/50), Orange Foil (/25), Black Foil (/10), Red Foil (/5) and Foilfractor (1/1) parallels add to the chase on these.

There are some autographed memorabilia cards on the checklist as well. City Connect Swatch Collection Auto Relics include Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Black (/10), Red (/5) and Platinum (1/1) parallels.

Rickwood Auto Relic Collection cards are a little tougher in the parallel department with Orange (/25), Black (/10), Red (/5) and Platinum (1/1) versions.

Heavy Lumber Autograph Relics have no more than 10 copies each.

2025 Topps Series 1 Baseball Silver Packs

Bonus silver packs return for another year but only at the hobby level.

Standard hobby boxes include one pack as a box topper while jumbo boxes net two.

These stick to the pattern of the last several years, cards in these packs are exclusive mojo-patterned Chrome spins using the 1990 Topps design.
